Our new worship CD is nearly finished! With10 tracks mixed and just one more to go, we’re working on all the other details to make this project complete. Hopefully we’ll have the disc in hand by mid to late February with a release concert in the works for March. God has given me the desire of my heart as He has taught me to delight in Him and I’m undone by His grace, once more. His hand has been seen in every answer to prayer, every person He has sent our way with the much needed giftings, and in every unfamiliar and glorious place of this journey. Much thanks is given to Jason Hoard, our producer at Black Cat Studios who took what we had in our hand and hearts and gave life to a dream. Not only incredibly gifted as a musician himself,  he is just plain fun to be around! And very patient….love him!

We are set to go in to the recording studio the week of September 17!  Being thankful for God’s provision already, we are trusting Him for the rest. God has really amazed us with fellow worshipers who have prayed over us, supported us, spoken into us, and who continue to encourage us in this project. Thank you to all of you who hold us up to the Father in love. Please, don’t stop.

Praise and thanksgiving must be given to the Lord for the work we witnessed in Pinecrest, GA at Cordele Baptist Church. We are thankful to have had the privilege to lead in worship for the revival there all week. His Spirit genuinely moved and brought many into His Kingdom, 15 that we know about! Others experienced renewal in His Presence and through the Word and openly worshiped and prayed at the altar. How amazing to taste and see that the Lord is good! We love the people of Pinecrest! They ministered to our hearts more than they will ever know. To God be the glory!

I (Kim) leave for El Salvador with ladies from Touching Hearts Ministries on September 20th. With great love He has put in our hearts, we go to share His heart with women and children there, praying this: that they “may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that (they) may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:18-19) I am filled with great anticipation.

 

The Lord has put on our hearts to make a CD of the music He has been giving me (Kim) while serving as worship leader for a Women’s ministry called Touching Hearts. My dear friend, Martha Wilson, is founder and director of this life changing ministry and it would bless you to look at the website: http://touchingheartsministries.org  I have been privileged to worship the Lord with these amazing women every week  for several years now. About three years ago, God began stirring in me to write songs during our worship time.  This was and is still a new place for me. While I feel loved and accepted by my sisters who I worship with every week, to record these songs for others to hear brings up old flesh patterns of people pleasing and rejection. But God in His relentless way, reminded me that to trust and obey Him is better than sacrifice. His Spirit will lead us on and as we abide in Him, all will be well. So, with that we ask you to pray with us for the Father to express Himself through these songs of praise and adoration and that they bring the listener into His Presence.

Many of these songs have been, and will continue to be, birthed from our personal worship journeys with the Lord. He is faithful to help us grow “in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

We will have regular updates here as to the progress of our new adventure.
These are the specific requests we are making known to our God, with thanksgiving:

• Melody and lyrics of new songs

• Discipline of our time

• Which songs to record

• Musicians to use in recording

•What studio to use

• Finances to be provided

• For Joe, myself, and our family to be yielded entirely to God’s sovereign will for our lives

• Our personal worship- most important

Thank you in advance for praying in Jesus’ Name on our behalf. Our desire would be to have this finished up by the end of this year. We entrust the times into the Father’s hand, though, and will follow His lead. Lead us on, Lord…..

Today, I am encouraged by the forethought and love of my Father when He said “A friend loves at all times.” There are a few precious friends He has surrounded me with for such a time as this, and to not receive this gift from Him, or to not express my gratitude for it, would be unwise. So, today I thank my God upon my every remembrance for those who have loved me unconditionally, who have spoken life into me, and who have been the hands and feet of Jesus to me. These are friends who sharpen me as iron sharpens iron, who aren’t afraid to speak the truth in love. They rejoice when I rejoice and they weep when I weep. We are linked by our passion to love Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. They teach me every time I’m near them. They call out the gifts that God has put in me. They pray for me when I’m struggling, they pray for my family, they bear my burdens. We pray together and experience the Presence of the Lord powerfully. We have been on our faces together and we have laughed and danced together as the Spirit has led us. They remind me to stand on God’s Word.
They are treasures to me and I love them dearly. I am overwhelmed by God’s goodness to me through them.
